Q. What does the Body Wrap feel like?
While you are in the wrap, you feel tight, not uncomfortable, but supported. You can almost feel the skin tightening under the mineral soaked bandages.
Q. Do I have to wait until I have lost weight to benefit from a wrap?
No. Everyone and anyone can benefit from a body wrap. The patients that we wrap that are in a weight reduction program simultaneously, see added benefits as we are tightening their skin as they are losing the weight. In essence we are both working to help change the shape of their body.
Q. Can I have a wrap while pregnant?
Yes. With written approval from your physician. Pregnant women benefit nicely from body wraps. Naturally you will be wrapped slightly differently. The solution is natural and not harmful in any way. Some of the benefits you will experience are reduction in legs that are swollen and reduction of body bloat that is associated with pregnancy.
Q. What is in The Body Wrap Solution?
A. Although the solution formula is a trade secret we can tell you that it is composed entirely of food grade inorganic minerals and distilled water, all of which may be taken internally.
Q. Are there any medical considerations?
A. Common sense dictates. If you are on medication or have any physical condition, you should obtain your Doctor's permission.
Q. Is The Body Wrap a heat or sauna type treatment?
A. NO. Although the wraps are applied warm, your body will feel cool. For your comfort, a poncho is put on you to help you retain your own body heat.
Q. What do I wear while I am wrapped?
A. Women are wrapped in a bra and panties (no girdles, please, as they make accurate measurements impossible). Bring a change of underwear because what you are wrapped in will be wet. Men are wrapped in swim trunks they bring with them.
