Body wraps have been used for centuries. The Egyptians were wise to the benefits of detoxifying the body, as were the Chinese.

| Skin cells can be surrounded by fluid, called "interstitial fluid." This fluid accumulates due to age, stress, lack of exercise, weight gain and other factors. This fluid between the cells can contain chemicals that in high amounts would be considered toxic.
